Louisa has been dancing since an early age and has been Belly Dancing professionally since 1999. Having learnt from some fantastic teachers in the UK, Egypt, Morocco & India, she has had the privilege to have met and danced with some of top names in the Belly Dance World.
Having danced professionally for many years, Louisa has vast experience dancing at variety of events & occasions, including corporate events, night clubs, weddings, festivals and private parties. Louisa has danced regularly for many Turkish & Arabic Restaurants over the years. Louisa has also given radio interviews to the BBC and was interviewed for the Guardian Newspaper. She has written articles for various magazines including publishing her own Belly Dance magazine, Tribal Magazine.
She is always seeking to improve and develop her dancing skills and continues her pursuit & passion, travelling far & wide. She has been teaching the art of Belly Dance for many years, passing on her enthusiasm for the dance in a friendly & inspiring manner in her dance classes.
Although Louisa’s main focus of study is Egyptian Belly Dance style, she has also taken classes in India Classical Dance, Bollywood Dance, American Tribal Style, Flamenco and African dance, all of which enhance and influence her unique style. More recently Louisa has been exploring the world of Burlesque and all of its many delights!
As well as teaching Belly Dancing Louisa organises Arabic style parties, Goddess Parties and is the proud organiser of Barefoot Festival, previously know as the Goddess Camp. This is an annual Dance, Music and Arts festival held in Middle England – A fantastic gathering not to be missed with classes in Belly Dance, Burlesque, Samba, Indian Dance, Yoga, Tai Chi, Capoeira and much more!
